I’m Emily Jeanne, the heart and the hands behind Switchyard Studio. An old-school barber studio built on the belief that the experience matters just as much as the result.
Inspired by the craftsmanship, conversation, and atmosphere of a bygone era, I’ve created a space where people can slow down, enjoy the ritual, and leave feeling just as good as they look.
After graduating from Blanche Macdonald Centre in Professional Hairstyling, I’ve spent the past nine years behind the chair in Vancouver and Squamish, blending traditional barbering with a modern approach.
Outside the studio, I’m passionate about vintage style, antiques, music, animals, and creating a space where people feel genuinely cared for, seen, and valued.
